Four-year old Pole receives an award in Brussels

Four-year old Krystian from Lodz is a hero. Half year ago, when his mother fainted, he dialed the number 112 and saved her life. His heroic act was noted even in Brussels. Krystian will receive there a special prize from the European Emergency Number Association.

Half year ago Krystianek’s mother who is a diabetics suddenly fainted. Frightened boy phoned the emergency number 112 and said "My mom feels really bad" – said the person who answer the phone, Krystian was not able to give an address, and then he hand up.

Telephone operator reminded herself that few months earlier she had a similar report from a small child. She quickly began to review the matter. It turned out that before it was the same boy who called. She found an address and sent an ambulance.

Few days after the accident the police prized him. As a reward for his heroism he got a diploma and toys. Now, Krystian is going to receive a real prize in the Brussels -Outstanding Citizen Award.

Dorota Królak was also appreciated - the police operator, who answered the phone. She will receive an award for number 112 outstanding operator.
