Polish earning emigration has the most followers in France and the least in Germany – it results from the survey made by TNS OBOP (Public Opinion Research Centre), carried out in Germany, France and Great Britain.
The research shows that two thirds of Germans think that the work market for Poles should has been open as late as possible. Local people that are unemployed, have elementary or secondary education and residents of the former East Germany have the most anxiety.
The Frenchmen are far more willing for the Polish immigration – 58 percent of them think that it is good that their country opens its market for Polish employees. Among professions, such opinion declare 100 percent of French farmers. Far more sceptical are workers, where the percentage of followers and opponents of Polish emigration is almost equal.
Nearly half of Britishers are satisfied with the opening of the work market for Poles. The biggest number of opponents of the Polish employees influx is among people searching for job.
The survey, coordinated by TNS OBOP, was carried out from 30th April till 10th May. In Germany 1000 people were examined, in France – 1002, and in Great Britain – 1032.
