Sharp increases in oil prices on commodity markets caused increases in fuel prices at petrol stations. From day to day, petrol and diesel oil are becoming more expensive. This is particularly painful for the owners of cars with diesel engines: only this week diesel oil prices rose on average by 15 cents.
This is the record week’s effect, which brought more than $ 8 price increase on oil barrel at petroleum market. According to the statistics of analytical centre BM Reflex, liter of petrol cost, on average, from 6 to 8 polish groszy more than week before. We will pay, on average, $ 4.54 / l for 95 popular, while Super Plus 98 will cost $ 4.69 / l.
Diesel oil prices rose even more. Diesel oil costs on average $ 4.59 / l, which is about 15 Polish groszy more than week ago. Diesel cars owners may forget about times when oil prices were lower than gasoline. Such relation is slowly going down in history, because European boom for cars with this kind of engine caused that demand for ON in the Old Continent significantly exceeds supply.
