Metallica in Poland

This is the beginning of Metallica’s European tournée in Chorzów: on 28th May 60 thousand Polish fans is going to watch their concert. Metallica is the most popular foreign music star. They have sold 1,5 milion albums.
Metallica has a fondness for Poland, because when they had not yet been so popular, as it is today, during their first visit in 1987, for two evenings in row audience had been filling Spodek in Katowice. Musicians love our cuisine. When they are flying back, on board of their private airoplane they usually have huge supplies of our pierogi (boiled dough pockets filled with meat, cheese or fruit) and bigos (Polish dish made of sauerkraut, sausage and mushrooms).
It is the third time when famous metal group will give their performance on Silesian Stadium, where they played before in 2004 while promoting their record "Saint Anger". All in all it is the seventh time when Metallica will have been performing in Poland.
