Wiesenthal Centre is going to help in pursuing Nazi, who commited murders during the uprising.
Yesterday in Warsaw, Efraim Zuroff, boss of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre, got a full list of members of the S.S. from Dirlewanger brigade. – We are offering you all possible support! – he said.
Wiesenthal Centre, which sent to the court many war criminals, has very valuable experience, huge amount of documentation and contracts, which can be really helpfull for IPN. – I am in regular contact with the chairmen Janusz Kurtyka. I think that we should, as fast as it is possible, have a meeting and establish the scheme of the action – stressed Zuroff.
Centre, managing by Zuroff, is going to help Poland not only in the case of adjudging executioners in Warsaw uprising but also in the case of deprivation their special pensions. – According to the German law, veterans, who were wounded during the war receive special services. If this is the case concerning the members of Dirlewanger unit, we will obtain to reclaim it – said Zuroff.
