Paris cheaper than Warsaw

Clothes, cosmetics, shoes of well recognized brands as Prada or Hugo Boss, cost in Poland even twice as mach as in the most expensives streets of Europe.
In Poland, in Max Mara shops, it is really hard to buy one piece of clothes for less than 1 thousand zloty. Yet in the same boutique on Rome Via Condotti street one can buy shoes and blouse for this price.
The strength of our zloty Poles can feel only when buying abroad. The bottle of luxury cologne in Poland is 100 - 150 zloty more expensive than in London or Paris.
The representatives of clothing brands explained the difference in prices by the uncertainty of future zloty's exchange rate. We placed a lot of orders before the strengthening of zloty.
Polish luxury market is worth 3 billion zloty. But still officially we do not have top shelf brands such as: Prada, Dior or Chanel.
