Canvas „The Study of Clouds” back in Poland

German painter, Friedrich Philipp Reinhold’s painting “The Study of Clouds” („Studium Chmur”), which had been lost during II World War, came back to Wroclaw. Canvas was found in Paris.
“The Study of Clouds” found its way to National Museum in Wroclaw and will be exhibited in near future.
His owner brought canvas to the antique shop. On the back side of this work of art inscriptions informed that this painting was the property of the Silesian Museum of Fine Arts in Breslau and was purchased to its collection in 1935.
French police, notified by the antiquarians, informed Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in Warsaw, and the ministry informed the National Museum in Wroclaw.
