Cracow the best city in Poland

Cracow is the most attractive city in our country, that is how, at any rate, Poles, questioned in the opinion poll answered.
In particular categories, such as the most resilient developing cities and with the greatest ability to attract investments, Warsaw reigned. Unfortunately our capitol win also in the category of the dirtiest cities in Poland.
“Warsaw works as a magnet: it attracts wide variety of young, ambitious, hard working people. It is very attractive for them. On the other hand it can also terrifies” – that is how doctor Ryszard Cichocki, sociologist from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, comments on the results of the opinion poll.
He also explains why Cracow is considered in such way. “Fast development entails the destruction of traditional structures socio-family. That is why so many people escape to the myth of Cracow, the city considered as solid and coherent” – Cichocki admitted.
