Festival in Łańcut

On saturday night on 10th of May in the ballroom of the castle in Łańcut will take place one of the oldest and most prestigious cultural events in our country - Musical Festival in Łańcut. It will be the 47th edition of this festival.
It is a place, where the concert takes place, that is important to the music. The Musical Festival in Łańcut is in superior position to the other festivals because it takes place in the most beautiful and well-preserved aristocratic mansions - the ballroom in Łańcut Castle which its beauty owes to the Lubomirski and Potocki families.
The festival is thought to be one of the biggest cultural events in the country. It was run by Bogusław Kaczyński and for the last several years by Wergiliusz Gołąbek. This year's programm was prepared entirely by the new director of Artur Maławski Philharmonic in Rzeszów and at the same time the director of the festival - Marek Stefański. " In this year's programm we present primarily the music of western countries and Russia, to whom we will devote our nights", said the director Marek Stefański. One will have an opportunity to hear the Italian, Irish, Russian, German and Spanish music performed by the artists of these countries.
