World guitar record in Wrocław

In Wrocław Polish musicians improved world record in collective playing of "Hey Joe" song by Jimi Hendrix. Guitar players who met at the Wrocław Market Square broke the Guiness world record in playing "Hey Joe" collectively. 1931 musicians gathered at the Market Square - 55 more than last year.
The guitarists arrived not only from Wrocław but also from whole Poland. On thursday since early in the morning one could have met hundreds of guitarists training before the main performance of the song by Hendrix.
Collective performance of almost 2 thousand players took place at 4 p.m. Short after from the city hall tower was played a city anthem. This time it was not taditional one- the city player ( trumpeter) played "Hey Joe".
