March of Tolerance walked through Cracow

At midday on saturday took place a March of Tolerance in Cracow. Throughout the course of the march its opponents disturbed many times. Six people were detained. Before the march started representatives of foundation "Culture for Tolerance" had laid flowers under the Tomb of Unknown Soldier. Manifestants carried colourfull baloons and rainbow flags - the sumbol of homosexual movement and banners: "Rainbow family-happy family", "Everyone has right to love", "Everyone different - everyone equal", "Live in your own skin", "Love makes no distinction in sex". The march were trying to disturb its opponents. Gathered at Barbican they chucked bangers on participants. They screamed: "Fags, todger dodger, gays the whole Poland is laughing at you"; they got in response: "This is Poland","Down with facism". Both groups were separated from each other by police cordon. The opponents screamed:"Clowns, kinko", "Cracow market won't be faggot's market". The participants answered to them: "Let yourself be loved", "Come with us" but also "Fascists". Six people were detained, among them one for assault and battery at police officer. 300 people were carded. No one was aggrieved, said the spokesman of Lesser Poland police Dariusz Nowak. As underlined by organizers, March of Tolerance is a pretext against homofobia and violence, demonstration of diversity. People from the UK, Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium and France took part in it.
