Travel agencies demand extra fees

Travel agencies demand extra charges from their clients; due to the higher prices of petroleum, petrol fees have also increased.
The increase in carriers’ prices caused travel to demand extra fees of a few dozen to 200 zlotys. Almost all airlines decided to charge a petrol fee this year. Last year this kind of fees also occurred, but they were 50% lower.
The clients are discontented. They think that it is only under the pretext of a profit. Besides, travel agencies are gaining because of strengthening of Polish zloty. Travel agents explain that the differences in exchange rate are not making any profit, because they are buying the tours even one year in advance, and part of the petrol fees they leave to themselves, because they do not want to lose their clients.
