Attack on Polish Embassy in Iraq

Terrorists attacked a building in which Polish officers BOR (Government Protection Bureau) responsible for protection of Polish Embassy were living. One of the officers is lightly wounded. The attacked building is located several meters from our embassy.
In the moment of attack five BOR officers were in the building. One of them was wounded. However all of them were taken to the hospital - just in case. American sappers were called to the building in order to check precisely where the missile had fallen.
"The attack was probably an accident", says general Edward Pietrzyk. And he adds that there is a headquarters of Italian diplomacy nearby. That is why we cannot say that it was certainly an attack on Poles.
