Polish companies belong to the cheapiest in the world. It is more expensive in China and USA. Since autumn summit the indexes at Stock Exchange have decreased one-third.
The low rate may reflect weaker prospects of country's economy. Costs are growing for companies, credits are more expensive and strong currency (zloty) knocks the wind out of expert's sails. However, there is a lot of optimists. They explain the present apathy with small activity of foreign investors and with stagnation among clients of investment trust. They claim that Polish economy is still developing at high speed and it will be supported with billions Euro pumped into infrastructure projects by EU. Apart from that we have very stable political situation, especially against a background of other eastern markets.
