In butterfly conservatory in which was created the evvironment similar to that in Amazonian jungle, the visitors will be able to see freely living butterflies. "The main atraction of conservatory are freely flying butterflies and moths, which come from the Tropics and breeding ground where you can observe stages of development of these gorgeous insects", said on Tuesday the Director of Wrocław Zoo Radosław Ratajszczak.
Within a year, estimates Ratajszczak, through butterfly conservatory will go more or less 50 species, because butterflies are seasonal insects and they live very short from 3 to 5 days. Only to lay eggs. Every two weeks to conservatory will be brought chrysalides and every two weeks new butterflies will hatch.
