Film festival in Wroclaw

460 films will fill the programme of the eighth Era New Horizons (Era Nowe Horyzonty) festival , which will take place in Wroclaw from 17th till 27th July . The most important part of this event is the “New Horizons” competition.
Among 16 entered films, the audience will have an opportunity to see for example, Peter Geyer's "Jesus Christ The Savior", José Luis Gubin’s “In Sylvia’s City” and Michelange Quay’s “Eat, For This Is My Body”. As a real event the review of New Zeland movies is announced, as well as the Theo Angelopoulos’s and Terence Davies’s retrospectives.

The contest of “New Polish Films” will be introduced in a changed formula – titles, whose premiere took place after July 29th 2007, are entered, the premiere movies and those shown in movie theaters and other Polish and foreign festivals are accepted as well.
