Warsaw Summer Jazz Days

Kenny Garrett, Pat Metheny Trio and Charlie Haden are the this year’s edition of Festival Warsaw Summer Jazz Days celebrities. Jazz fans will also hear Ala di Meola, Bobby McFerrin and Branford Marsalis’s concerts.
The event is taking place on June, 28th in Warsaw, beginning with Kenny Garett’s, american jazz saxophone player, concert. On July, 2th in Zabrze and on July, 3th in Warsaw (Congress Hall) Pat Metheny Trio will play.
Concert "Return to forever" with jazz stars: Chick Corea, Stanley Clark, Ala Di Meola and Lenny White is also included in the programme (July, 4th in Congress Hall)
July, 5th, festival’s audience can hear “Duet” concert performed by jazz vocalis Bobby McFerrin, who is going to be accompanied by Polish singer Anna Maria Jopek and pianist Leszek Możdżer. The concert is also taking place in Congress Hall in Warsaw.
The performance of Branford Marsalis Quartet and Charlie Haden Quartet West is also planned (July, 6th in Congress Gall). Rhonda Smith will perform on July, 21th and Steve Coleman&Five Elements two days later.
Apart from all that, The Romanian, Slovakian, Greek and Austrian Days are also planned during Warsaw Summer Jazz Days 2008 (the concerts are taking place in Aquarium Jazzarium).
