The Saint Mountain (Święta Góra) on historic monuments list

Tomorrow, during International Day of Historic Monuments Protection, decision about the recognition of monastic complex of Oratory of Saint Philip Neri Congregation (Kongregacji Oratorium św. Filipa Neri) in Gostyń-Głogówek, named Saint Mountain, as historic monument will be announced.
The monastery in Gostyń-Głogówek gained a name of baroque pearl in Wielkopolska province. The most precious and valuable element of this historic complex is monumental Immaculate Conception and Saint Philip Neri’s basilic. This building received wide recognition as unique example of full Italian baroque import - Baldassare Longhena, outstanding Venetian architect, made this project, forming authorial copy of Santa Maria Della Salute’s church in Venice.
This year’s main ceremonies, connected with celebrations of International Day of Historic Monuments Protection, are taking place in Gostyń-Głogówek.
