First in Poland championships in downhill cycling under the ground

In Bochnia salt main, for the first time in Poland and the third time in the world, took place championships in downhill cycling. The winner was specialist in snowboard and snow cross Maciej Jadko (AZS AWF Zakopane Kraków- Academically Association of Sport from Academia of Physical Education) .
110 participants competed on under one kilometer long route along main drifts, cut by false barriers and transverse ramps, which joined separate levels of main.
The hardest challenge was 140 meters ramp. Finish was on the level of 250 meters. Difference in levels was 142 meters- informed director of championships Krzysztof Tyszkowski.
It was not the first championship organized in Poland under the ground  In the main Wieliczka, in 2004 was a semi-marathon conducted on the lowest level in the world- 212 meters.
