Polish EU deputy wangled Money from European Union

At least one Polish EU deputy is mixed-up in wangling money from European Parliament. EU auditors found put that EU deputies are stealing sizeable part of 140 millions € per year, which is given to them for finance their assistants.
Jan Masiel, EU deputy from Wielkopolska is suspected. He entered to Europen Parliament from Samoobrona’s elector list.
He himself admits, that wangling money for assistants is a common practice, because rules of their engagement are not describe in a specific way, Union rules gives a lot of possibilities of interpretation.
His associate is showing two invoices, both issued on 31st of December 2005 by Viani company for the name of Masiela, both are issued for production of commercial gadgets, one of them for amount of over 35.000 PLN, the second for almost 16.000 PLN.
According to associates of Masiel, both invoices are fictional, hundreds of gadget never has been produced. There were a few of them, just in case, if the order for them was wanted to be checked by Brussels.
