Formula 1 in Bahrain
Robert Kubica came third in Grand Prix in Bahrain. The Pole took the first pole position. Yet he was overtaken by Ferrari drivers.
The third start and the second podium! In Grand Prix in Bahrain Robert Kubica stood on the third step of the stand. It could be even better, but pulling out from pole position was not his best start ever.
Right before the first bend he was overtaken by Brasilian Felipe Massa in Ferrari, who did not yield his lead till the end of the race. Raikkonen passed the finish line in the second position.
In general ranking Kubica advanced to fourth position. Raikkonen is leading (19 points), right before Heidfeldem (16 points) and Hamiltonem (14 points). The Pole has 14 points, the same amount as the Brit, but the McLaren’s driver won one of the races and that is why he is one place higher.
Kovalainen also has 14 points, but he has a worse balance of highest scores than Kubica. In constructors' classification BMW Sauber with 30 points took the lead, in the second place is Ferrari with 29 points and the third is McLaren with 28 points.
