Truck drivers blocked border checkpoint

Truck drivers, waiting for the clearance on Polish-Ukraine border checkpoint in Hrebenn (Lubelskie), blocked the road leading to this border checkpoint. They demand facilitation and acceleration of the clearance.

The time of waiting for the clearance in Hrebenn on Wednesday amounted to 36 hours. Before the checkpoint, in a several-kilometre queue, 230 trucks waited. On the night shift customs officers dispatched 70 trucks going to the Ukraine. According to the opinion of customs officers, queues on border checkout with Ukraine, result from increased traffic, and tempo of border checkouts is limited by the possibilities of Ukraine side.
