Oskariada- off- ciemna
Oskariada is a festival of off-cinema and it treats independent movie art on many levels and it performs this art in many different forms. The main part of the event is movie contest, which rallies the most interesting productions emanated from off-cinema. There will be presentation of students’ etudes as well as fully professionals feature movies.
There will be also a place for fully amateur productions. The main aim of the Oskariada is not only to present the best movies but also focusing on the phenomenon of independent cinema and its development in different parts of world. There will be also many retrospectives and presentations prepared by partners festivals (for example from Japan, France, Czech).
During Oskariada we will have the opportunity to see in one place and simultaneously all off-movies awarded in the most important off-cinema festivals. Authors from the following countries will take part in Oskariada: Austria, Belgium, Czech, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, The Netherlands, Israel, Canada, Lithuania, Germany, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, USA, Hungary, UK and Poland. The event takes place from 16 till 20 of April in Warsaw, in Kinoteka.
