Celebrations of Pope John Paul II's third death anniversary

In many countries in Poland, prayers, concerts and conferences, concerning the heritage of John Paul II, on the occasion of third anniversary of his death, are planned. Main celebrations are going to take place in Warsaw and Cracow; a lot of interesting events are also expected in Poznan and Lublin.

The Centre of Thought of John Paul II (Centrum Myśli Jana Pawła II) are beginning new campaign connected with the third anniversary of death of Polish Pope. On the streets of our capitol, posters presenting – right next to the date of his death – a newborn baby.

Wioletta Łabuda-Iwaniak from a Centre stressed, that the most important is a watchword “Life is Eternal”. In her opinion, after the time of mourning John Paul II death, there is a time for reflection. Campaign is to induce people to ask questions about our life, about what is going to happened after our death.
