This system is equipped in light signaling and informative tables, placed in most important ports. Mazurian WOPR (Volunteer Lifeguards Association - Wodne Ochotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe) got eight additional vacancies and a new rescue boat. During the debate organized by the way of Warsaw trades “Wind and Wather” people were thinking if any conclusions have been drawn from last year's tragedy.
According to Zbigniew Kurowicki, boss of Mazurian WOPR, there is still a lot to do “We need to build the centre of water rescue service in Giżycko and replace old rescue boats, so we can launch them, no matter what conditions. Joint practices of rescue service are very important."
