European Business Awards for the Environment

Polish candidates for European Business Awards for the Environment are HMS ltd. from Niepołomice, The Kostrzyca Forest Gene Bank and Koksoprojekt Consulting Engineering Company Ltd.

European Business Awards for the Environment has been established in 1987 by European Commission. The main goal of the competition is to reward and promote companies of a great economic and social contribution without damaging the environment and natural resources.

The organizer of the Polish edition of the competition is Polish Environmental Partnership Foundation in cooperation with Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan (PKPP Lewiatan).

The national preliminaries to the competition were taken under the patronage of Minister of Economics, Minister of Regional Development and Minister of Environment. The winners of National Awards ‘Clean Business’ and Minister of Environment competition ‘Leader of Polish Ecology’ participated in the competition.
