Balance of used European Union’s means

2,5 thousand kilometres of roads, more than 300 thousand new working places, increase in economy enlarged by few points – these are the efects of the utilization of European Union’s money so far.

In years 2004-2006 European Union gave 52,5 billion PLN to Poland’s own disposal. Because we add to this money our own contribution, we could begin as much as 80,7 thousand different projects, in total worth 96,9 billion PLN. 49 thousand projects has been already finished, the rest 31,7 thousand are in the faze of realization.

Only structural funds coused, that in Poland 319 thousand of new working place was created. From the European Union’s money 2480 kilometres of provincial, district and communal roads were build and modernized and 2262 kilometres of new sewage systems.

European Union’s money also helped a lot Polish companies, especially small and medium ones. Till now these companies have got 11 billion PLN subsidy for investment in machines and equipment, another 4 billion PLN went to advising, development of mikroloans and guarantees.
