Council of Europe calls for legalization of abortion in Poland

Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly require countries, which prohibited abortion, to withdraw from it. This issue is to be introduced during vote on April 16.

Appeal is dirrected to, among the others, Poland, Irland and Malta, where abortion is acceptable only in special circumstances, or not at all.

Apart from legalization of abortion report recommend sexual education, more profamily politics and promoting contraceptives, which should lead to the decrease in number of unwanted pregnancies.
