Poland in Eurozone before year 2012

Prime Minister Donald Tusk said, that before 2012 Poland should be prepared to join the Eurozone. At the same time he stressed that there is no guarantee that in year 2012 Poland in fact would join Eurozone.

“We would like to reach the level of economy and public finances, which could let us to join Eurozone before 2012. But wheather such decision is going to be made in 2012 it is another matter” – said Donald Tusk

“This is really far future. In 2012 we will be in Poland after parliamentary and presidential elections, so I cannot give a guarantee for year 2012. Although I can say that Poland in year 2012 should be prepared to join Eurozone” – added Prime Minister.
