Senator Mazurkiewicz died

Andrzej Tadeusz Mazurkiewicz, senator Pis, has died. He was 44. Mazurkiewicz suffered illness connected with aorta. On Thursday he was transported from Jarosław to Anin, where surgery was carried out. The operation was a succes but doctors did not managed to wake him up from anaesthesia.

Senator was 44, he was a lawyer, he finished Faculty of Catholic Law of Lublin University (Wydział Prawa Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego). Since 1981 he belonged to Confederation for Independent Poland, untill the end of its activitiy.

He was a deputy of the Seym in years 1991-1993. He was also on a position of deputy mayor of Jarosław (1994-1997). Next, he fulfil this activitiy in years 2005-2007 and in present tenure.
