Poles want to study in Great Britain

There are more and more people from Poland, who want to study on universities and colleges in Great Britain. In academic year 2005/2006 - 4325 people from Poland studied on British universities, in 2006/2007 almost 56% more, that is 6770. It is the biggest increase among any other nations studying on British universities. Poles are ahead of such nations as Spaniards and Italians, they are placed on sixth position among European Union countries.

Since the widening of the European Union in 2004, Poles pay the same tuition as British. Earlier, one year on studies on a good university costed for example 10 thousand pounds, right now it does not exceed 3 thousand pounds.

In order to study on British Isles it is enough to pass Polish secondary-school certificate and send an application through UCAS programme and wait for the universities offers.
