Inaugural session of Committee Organizing Euro 2012
Committee Organizing European Championships in Football EURO 2012 gathered in Warsaw on Tuesday on inaugural session. Donald Tusk preside over a meeting. He declared that for Polish-Ukrainian event he is available 24 hours a day.
Next week Prime Minister is going to pay a visit in Ukraine and he is going to talk about, among the others, Euro. Tusk think that he need to unite all political authorities in Poland, similarly as it happened in Portugal during previous championship – chairman of PZPN Michał Listkiewicz related the session to the journalists.
As the principal of PZPN group looking after Euro 2012 Adam Olkowicz said, cities, in which championships games are going to take place, are pleased with the system supporting constructing stadiums – in proportion to the size of the structure. They also await assistance in extension of infrastructure – for example train stations and airports, what the government and the authorities of city council need to negotiate with each other.
