Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz is coming back to politics

"My return to politics is mostly by accident. If not Kaczyńscy I would not be coming back. Their ruling was a one big catastrophy and I felt that I have a moral obligation to do everything what is possible to remove them from power" - said Cimoszewicz.
Cimoszewicz evaluated the foreign policy of former government and think that it was a disaster. Present government make a more open-minded impression, but he also added that present government made a mistake when it recognized the independence of Kosowo so quickly. We could offer practical help to Kosowo and put forward our expectations concerning observance of the law and liberty of civils. If it turnd out that Kosowa is obeying the standards we could convinced Serbian politicians to accept the reality.
Former Prime Minister was saying also about the left: the left lost the support because of its own mistakes - for example it did not blocked the flow of dishonest careerist, who drowning were pulling it down with them. The ruling party have to burn with hot iron such a irregularity. There was also a lot of self-confidence and the conviction that we will not be touched by "peoples wrath". Another reason was inevitable, and at the same time very painful decisions, which the left had to make. The left inherited the ruined budget and that is why the government which meet the expectations that it is going to be buttering the sandwithes with marmolade, had to get those sandwithes back! Unfortunatelly foolish savings were also conducted: on self-service restaurant serving cheap meals and reduced tickets for students, for which they will have to pay a great political price.
At the moment Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz is an independent senator.
