DREWOOD 2008 Fair finished!

7-9th March 2008  in Wrocław third edition of International Wood Fair DREWOOD 2008 took place.
The event gathered 70 exhibitors from Poland, Czech Republic, Germany and Estonia. Beside the DREWOOD Fair in Hala Stulecia Building Fair TARBUD took place simultaneously, in which 31 companies connected with wood industry presented their offer. This year's fair edition was visited by record-breaking amount of people - nearly 25 thousands. It is a huge success of the organizers. Beautiful weather favored especially exhibitors who presented their offer outside.

   Visitors had an opportunity to acquaint with the offer of leading on Polish market companies from wood branch. Fair was dominated by the companies which produce or distribute machines, devices and tools for wood processing. Vast range of products and services sawmills and carpenters industry were also presented. No one who was dreaming about furnishing his own apartment in wood products was disappointed. Parquets, stairs, windows and furniture - all high-quality products could have been found on our fair.
DREWOOD 2008 was also visited by the representatives from our trade. Traditionally the highest number of tradesmen showed up during first day of the fair, that is on Friday. The meeting concerning the matter of European Standard, labeling products with CE sign, and Zakładowy System Kontroli Produkcji, organized by Związek Polskie Okna i Drzwi was meant mostly for them but of course everyone could participate in the seminar. On Saturday in camera meeting only members of Lubuska Organizacja Pracodawców were participating.
During DREWOOD 2008 Fair, awards in category: "the stand" and "the product" were handed out. Second year in row the company ARDI Andrzej Radzimski was rewarded for the most beautiful stand, while the honorable award in this category received WITAR. Both stands were kept in similar climate - made of natural wood, catching the eye of visitors and encouraging them to familiarize with the exhibitor offer. In the category "product" won Przedsiębiorstwo Przerobu Drewna Bigaj Zbigniew offering made with Polish technique doklejka to the furniture. The honorable award in this category received company TEMIWA, which was offering wood from Siberia.
