Will MTV stars come to Warsaw?

Next year in Warsaw there could be a lot of music stars from all over the world coming to Poland. MTV is talking with local authorities about organising a huge concert in Poland where MTV – European Music Awards will be handed out. However, according to Izabella Wiley, the chief of Polish MTV network and vice- chief of the TV Network in Europe, it can be difficult to find a suitable venue to organize the ceremony in Poland. The location has to be big enough to seat around 6 thousands people. Holding the ceremony in Warsaw Torwar would promote the city and bring in thousands of euros. About 4 thousand VIPs: artists,  music producers or labels' owners will appear at the ceremony. There will be, of course, many stars from the “top” such as Madonna or Snoop Dog, who was leading the concert last year. During the ceremony we will be able to watch performances of many famous artists. Last year Nelly Furtado, Rihanna, Linkin Park won the MTV Awards. In a few weeks time MTV will debut a fairytale about a couple of homosexual men, Izabella Wiley says. They want to show young people the way they live in real life and this is why people with different sexual orientation appear on MTV. “We don’t want to promote homosexuality but at the same time we don’t want to pretend that this phenomenon does not exist” says Wiley. She adds that MTV has a huge amount of programmes which will be offered to the fans. Furthermore , there will shortly be a new portal – a kind of interactive TV. The channel would show special features of the programmes or films.
