Faulty Satellite Taken Down

    At 4.26 am (Polish time) today (Thursday, Feb. 21st) USS Lake Eerie cruiser in service in North Pacific launched an SN-3 missile that took down the faulty American satellite. It was feared that the bad weather conditions might stand in the way of the operation, but it turned out otherwise.

    However, the main fears were connected with the hazard being posed by fuel tank of the satellite. Being full of the highly toxic hydrazine it might cause long lasting pollution, especially dangerous if it fell over agricultural or urban area. Whether the tank was destroyed by the missile in orbit is yet to be learned.

    Pentagon prosmised a due communique within 24 hours.
