The families of seven soldiers who shelled Afgan village Nangar Khel are shocked because of the court decision to extend the time of the custody. The court had debated for 6 hours whether the soldiers are to stay in custody or not. At last judges stated that their guilt is “very likely” and they need to stay in prison for another three months.
Last year in August seven soldiers shelled a small Afgan village. They killed six civilians. Six of them will be tried on the charge of genocide. One – on the attack on a non-defended object. He can be even sentenced to life imprisonment.
