Study Tour- Discovering Eastern Mazovia- Polimex Mostostal

Another attraction of Study Tour- Discovering Eastern Mazovia was a meeting in Polimex-Mostostal, leading comapny in the building sector situated on the suburbs of Siedlce. We were driven there by Aleksander Jonek, vice-president of the management board. He presented in broad outline the company, its successes and plans for future.

Polimex-Mostostal is a leader of Polish engineering-building sector with 60 years long tradition. They offer a unique and comprehensive scope of services in building and installation especially for gas, oil, chemical, petrochemical, environment protection, power, industrial building, roads, railway and other sectors.

It specializes in the production o energetic devices, technological furnaces and industrial metal constructions.

Polimex-Mostostal is rated on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and belongs to the WIG20 index.

According to Aleksander Jonek, the company is in the course of building of another modern factory manufacturing metal products as well as galvanizing plant and painting room.

The investment is located in the Special Economic Zone and this is why the company can still develop and prosper. They plan to build the National Stadion in Warsaw on Euro2012, they are modernizing railways on the trial between Wrocław and Legnica.

The vice-president of the management company boasted with many awards they had received, among others: Leader in the building sector and leader among the companies rated on the stock exchange and first place in the ranking TOP TSR – Total Shareholder Return 2003-2007 WIG 20 – GPW.

That nice meeting with the vice-president was finished with a small refreshment prepared by the company Polimex-Mostostal.
