Presidential Office is complaining that 160 million zloty (48million Euro) is not enough for them. Next year they demand 30 million zloty (9million Euro) more. They indicate some extra expenses connected with many ceremonies planned in 2009 which Lech Kaczyński wants to celebrate lavishly.

Lech Kaczyński is planning to spend 188,9 million zloty (56 million Euro). "Gazeta Wyborcza" reached a budget of chancellery which had already been put in the hands of Finantial Minister. It turned out that the lion share of expenditures - because 130 million zloty (39 million Euro) - will consume an issue entitled "current functioning". The paper reminded that in 2010 we have presidentail elections and Lech Kaczyński announced his participation in reelections. That is why the celebrations may be an opportiunity to promote his candidacy, helpful to run pre-election campaign.
