Sailing season in Masuria is about to start

As early as next weekend, 28th of April starts Majówka (long May weekend) in Masuria during which the sailing season will begin. On the 2nd of May will take place an official inauguration of sailing season.

Flights will get more expensive

Flights in cheapest classes will cost the same as in case of business class. And it is all because the price of oil is growing. Airlines will include costs of petrol in airfare.

Government and ecology

Ministry of Environment together with ecologists create a list of areas under protection Nature 2000. It will brings to an end the legal conflict with Brussels and will activate million Euro grants for roads.

Genetically Modified Food

The Government came up with a subterfuge which allows to lock or heavily hamper genetically modified plants production in Poland. The European Union's law does not allow the member states to forbid openly growing genetically modified food(GMO).

Attack on Polish Embassy in Iraq

Terrorists attacked a building in which Polish officers BOR (Government Protection Bureau) responsible for protection of Polish Embassy were living. One of the officers is lightly wounded. The attacked building is located several meters from our embassy.
