Since border examinations between Poland and Lithuania was canceled, smuggler changed their faces, they even don’t hide goods without excise, and when they are discovered by boarder guard, they just run away.

At the official website of an English music group Jamiroquai has appeared an information about their planned concert at Wianki Festival which will take place on 21th of June at Bulwar Poleski in Cracow.

Polish Film Festival in London

Today stars in London Polish Film Festival “Kinoteka”. For almost one month in London’s cinemas will be about 50 Polish movies performing- there will be premieres, young Polish cinema, documents and in companion of festival there will be also exhibitions and meetings with artists.

Cards payment terminals' numbers grow

The number of shops and service points where card payment is posiible is growing rapidly. The fourth quarter of last year saw a dramatic growth of the number of terminals. According to NBP (Polish National Bank) in IV quarter of last year 13,5 thousand of points acquired terminals. It is more than from January to September 2007 and in the whole of 2006.

Single expedition on the bicycle in the end of the world

Yesterday at 9 am Mr. Krzysztof Skok, student of Gdańsk University set off on his bicycle to China in order to see the start of Polish sportsmen at the upcoming Olympic Games in Beijing. He started off in Sopot city on Bohaterów Monte Casino Street and he is going to finish his expedition in Beijing.
