Brussels do not dream about young, gifted, Polish officials. It turned out that Poles fail to pass the “examination for Eurocrat” much more often than other nations. They are complaining at discrimination: “In Brussels people claims that there are to many of as anyway” – they say.

A child in return for money

This is first such an incident in Poland. Elżbieta Szymańska placed an offer in internet that she wants to be a surrogate mother of a child conceived in the process of in vitro, which means that she wants to give birth to a child and then sell it. She wants in return 16 thousand Euro.

Polish astronomers contributed in the discovery of two black holes

Astronomers discovered two supermassive black holes rotating around each other. In a research publiched in newest weekly „Nature” Polish scientists, from Jagellonian University and Pedagogical Academy in Cracow, were participating.

Polish government will privatize almost everything

Until 2011 our country is going to get rid of a whole trades, including few strategical. The government will also sell part of the shares in power industry and such financial giants as PZU and PKO BP. Pharmaceutical, chemical, tourist, shipbuilding, electronic and food industry are coming under the hammer.
