World Culture Festival "Window at the world"

Today is beginning a World Culture Festival "Window at the World" presenting artists from different cultural circles. The festival is organized by the Baltic Sea Culture Centre (NCK) in Gdańsk .

Air station in the citycenter of Gdańsk

The first Polish air check-in station for the travellers was opened in the citycenter of Gdańsk. From now on all formalities connected with buying tickets can be arranged without necessity of standing in a line at the airport in Rębichowo.

Rescue operation on Baltic

Lifeboat was launched today into the sea after the yacht " Wezyr" had transmitted SOS signal. The ship was towed to the port. Six people were on board: three women and three men.

Everything has started from bats. Firstly, two sick animals were found in Rumia, and then in Gdansk. The reaction of the authorities was very quick - two Gdansk districts were recognized as menaced.
