Poles reached the Arctic summit

It was short but very interesting, exploratory for us, and above all very lucky expedition "- summed up Leszek Cichy, the head of the expedition, when he returned to the country. On 7th of June five Poles have reached the highest peak of the Arctic - Gunnbjorns Fjeld (3694 m), which is popularly known as Icy Mountain.

On holiday additional 42 trains will go to the touristic towns in Poland and abroad. By train you will get not only to the Polish seaside but also to Amsterdam or to Hungarian Balaton.

In the first half of a year 2008 13,2 million foreign tourists have visited Poland. That is less than last year! At the same time number of Poles who have left abroad increased.
