World Tourism Day Celebrations

On the 27th of September was set a World Tourism Day. According to the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, this year's celebrations will take place in Warsaw and the President of Warsaw Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz and the Masovian Voivodeship Marshal Adam Struzik will take patronage over it.

Warsaw Multicultural Street Party 2008

IInd edition of "Warszawa bez granic" (Warsaw without limits) festival - "Warsaw Multicultural Street Party 2008" will take place on the 31st of August. This day a colourful parade will march across the capital. Through the music and dance the participants of the festival will present cultures of national and ethnical minorities that you can meet in Warsaw.

Poles are searching for Inca treasure

Poland-USA-Peru scientific-explorational expedition set off from New York to Peru. The target of the fortnight expedition is to discover and to research the mysterious region of Colca Canyon - "Cruz del Condor" and its scientific documentation.

Orange Warsaw Festival

On the 6th of September is going to take place the first edition of Orange Warsaw Festival. There are going to perform, among others: rap and hip-hop musicians Wyclef Jean and Kelly Rowland - a vocalist of the women's trio Destiny's Child, and also Polish artists.

Temple of the Sibyl in Puławy

Princes Czartoryski Foundation is planning to build a new Temple of the Sibyl in Puławy where the national relics collected by princess Izabela Czartoryska would be carried. Those exhibits are kept at the moment in Cracow.
