"Cracowia Sacra"

"Cracowia Sacra" project aims in promotion of the phenomenon of spiritual life of Cracow and will last exactly 24 hours. Visiting a dozen or so temples and monasteries of Cracow, and inside them concerts, works of art from church interior and vaults show, and additionally experiencing the secrecs of monks’ life– all this attractions are addressed to Cracowian and tourists of "Cracowia Sacra" project, which is scheduled for 15th of August.

Water and Fish Holiday

On August 9-10, in Czaplinek, Water and Fish Holiday will be held, joined with Sailing Gala, Sielawa Holiday and a chant concert.

There will be no Baltic Countries Summit Meeting in Poland

Summit planned on the 2th of August, Poland - Baltic Countries will be cancelled. President of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are not going to meet in Vistula, where they were to discuss a cooperation between their countries.

XIV Slavs and Vikings Festival Wolin 2008

During the days from 1th till 3th of August, XIV Slavs and Vikings Festival will be held in Wolin. The event is considered as one of the largest and most important events of this kind in Europe, every year it attracts one thousand participants from dozen European countries, as well as from United States and Australia.

Scouts from around the world rally

2.5 thousand scouts will take up residence in the scouts’ town in Chorzow on 1th of August. Scouts from 29 countries - mostly Poland, Hungary, Czech and Slovakia will arrive on organized in Chorzow IXth Middle-European Scouts Rally. The event called "Silesia 2008" will last 10 days.
