European Institute of Innovation and Technology in Wroclaw?

Polish government is going to promote Wroclaw candidature for the base of European Institute of Innovation and Technology (Europejskiego Instytutu Innowacji i Technologii). Very soon the government representatives, with this end in view, intend to visit few capitals in European Union.

Sejm accepted the Treaty of Lisbon

The Sejm (the lower house of the Polish parliament) accepted the announcement of results with standing ovation. In favour of ratification were 384 deputies from PO, PSL, LiD and majority from PiS. Against were 56 deputies of that party and 12 abstained from voting.

2,5 thousand kilometres of roads, more than 300 thousand new working places, increase in economy enlarged by few points – these are the efects of the utilization of European Union’s money so far.

European Foundation of Honorable Blood Donor “Donors” (Europejska Fundacja Honorowego Dawcy Krwi "Krewniacy") has inaugurated in lower house of the Parliament a social campaign “The Chain of Donors” ("Łańcuch Krewniaków").

Prime Minister meets President

The meeting of President Lech Kaczyński with Prime Minister Donald Tusk is taking place tomorrow at noon. The compromise about ratification of Lisbonian Treaty is expected. Prime Minister would like to have the voting about Treaty on Tuesday.
