Doubts about General Sikorski death
In 1993, in Newark, it was not General Sikorski, who was taken out of the coffin, but a completely different person. After reading the documents related to the General burial there was no doubt that different man had been putted into the coffin in Gibraltar, and different man had been taken out 50 years later in Newark - says journalist Dariusz Baliszewski, creator of the "Special revision" programme.

Martial law lawsuit
Wojciech Jaruzelski, Czesław Kiszczak and Stanisław Kania introduced the martial law in Poland at night 12-13 December 1981. Now, finally, the suit against them was brought. The process will start on September 12th - the district court in Warsaw informed.

Battle of Grunwald Inscanization
The climax of Grunwald Days will be an inscanization of Battle of Grunwald fought in 1410, the biggest war in medieval ages. There was built a knights' village like every year where the participants get ready to fight. The workshop will be open in which one may observe blacksmith's, cobbler's, goldsmith's, armourer's work, there will be also beggars and tradeswomen.

Wojciech Jaruzelski's birthday
General Wojciech Jaruzelski celebrated his 86th birthday on sunday. On that occasion the leaders of SLD (Democratic Left Alliance), inter alia: the head of the party Grzegorz Napieralski and its leader Wojciech Olejniczak visited the former President wishing him all the best. Jaruzelski "is and will be the statesman", said the politicians.

Lviv consulate endorses Polish Card
Already 3 thousand people are qualified to receive a Polish Card in the consulate of the Republic of Poland in Lviv, informed the Lviv consul-general, Wieslaw Osuchowski. "It is an absolute record in Polish diplomatic headquarters in the countries where the document is disposed, said the consul.
