Jerzy Jarocki jubilee
In Wroclaw Contemporary Theatre (17th of March), celebrations of 50-years of debut of Jerzy Jarocki, one of the most famous Polish theatres directors, are starting. That was him who showed on Polish stage Mrożek and Gombrowicz. His staging of Gombrowicz's "The Wedding" (Śluby) and television performance of Witkacy's "Mother" (Matka) are considered by experts to be canonic.
