Lech Kaczyński and Szimon Peres have commemorated victims of Treblinka Camp

On Monday, Presidents of Poland and Israel took part in a ceremony which commemorated the martyrdom of Jews. It took place in Treblinka under the stone monument, where in the extermination camp Treblinka II majority of Jews from Warsaw Ghetto were killed.

IPN will commemorate Jewish insurgents

Institute of the National Rememberance (Instytut Pamięci Narodowej) would like to commemorate Jewish insurgents, who on 19th April 1943 begun an uprising in Warsaw ghetto.

The remnants of German soldiers transported to the cemetary

The remains of 12 German soldiers, who died in March 1945 during artillery fire of this city, were exhumed near Kamień Pomorski. Now the remnants are going to be inhumed at local war cemetary.

Tusk does not convince Merkel

In spite of Polish objections, Germany are building the museum of expulsion. German government decided that the museum is going to be built in Berlin. The museum is a “visible sign against refuge and expulsion”.

Memory March in Cracow

To mark the 65th anniversary of Cracow ghetto liquidation people marched in memory of Nazis' Jewish Victims. Hundreds of people participated, including 100 Jews from Israel, Great Britain and Argentina.
